Meeting - August 19 North Texas River Runner's are pleased to welcome Dr. Clair Ossian, PhD, TCC Northeast Department Chair and head instructor of Geology who will present a special lecture focused on rivers. This is an opportunity not to be missed! Please come and bring your friends. Elections will also occur that night. See you there! Come earlier to eat. Dr. Ossian is our world's leading expert on jelly fish and the author of INSIGHTS: A LABORATORY MANUAL FOR PHYSICAL AND HISTORICAL GEOLOGY. He is President of the North Texas Chapter of the American Research Center in Egypt and has spoken all over the world on diverse topics which include ichthyology, geology, rare orchids, paleontology, topics related to ancient Egypt and many other subjects. |
